Sven Kramer and the Lesson of Karma

Sven Kramer is a talented speed skater who is setting the Olympic world abuzz. He was all set to take home a whole bunch of gold medals and put a couple of million dollars into his bank account.

Unfortunately, some of that cash will be left in the hands of his sponsors because ol' Sven ain't gonna get it. Skating in the 10,000 meter skate on Tuesday, the young Dutchman was disqualified after winning the race going away. Either his coach - or him, depending on who you ask - made a mistake about which land Sven should have been in. Read about it here

It was really sad to see such a talented guy lose in such a bogus way. But it was also good to see such a bonafide tittie-baby lose in such a bogus way.

You see, Sven Kramer was also the guy who treated a reporter with great disrespect the other day. After winning a gold medal in some race (who cares, it's speed skating), a reporter came up and asked Sven to state his name and what he just won. This is something reporters do when they are interviewing a bunch of people making it easier when everybody gets back to the office.

Instead of saying his name and the medal he just won, Sven said, "Are you stupid? ... Hell no, I'm not going to do that."

Hello, Sven, this is Karma. Karma, this is Sven.

I bet Ol' Sven would be more than happy to state his name and what medal he won after the 10,000 meter race.

Yep, that reporter sure was stupid. So stupid, she did her job the way she was supposed to. And that's more than you can say for Sven.
